Houston Airports is advancing its mission to deliver a seamless travel experience with the rollout of its latest cashless parking system at Hobby Airport. As part of a phased approach, the Red and Blue Garages recently transitioned to a fully cashless system.
The new system utilizes:
License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, which expedites entry and exit for vehicles with parking reservations.
Near-Field Communication (NFC) enables contactless payment through digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The cashless parking system is rolling out in phases across all parking facilities at Bush and Hobby airports.
